[2025 Forbes Korea] Dalpha CEO Kim Do-gyun Named to '30 Under 30 Representing Korea'

Recently, in the 2025 Forbes Korea announcement of the
'30 Under 30 Representing Korea,'
Dalpha CEO Kim Do-gyunmade the list.

Kim, who founded Dalpha, has quickly become a figure to watch in the field of enterprise-tailored AI solutions, and is recognized for leading innovation across the entire AI ecosystem.

What is 30 Under 30?

Forbes' '30 Under 30' is a program that selects young leaders under the age of 30 to spotlight their innovation and impact. It picks young people demonstrating outstanding capabilities across diverse fields—technology, business, entertainment, the arts, science, and solving social problems—and connects them with social attention and support so they can realize a bigger vision. By selecting and introducing Korea's leading young leaders each year, Forbes Korea hopes their stories of challenge and success will motivate other young people.

Selection Method

  • For the entrepreneur categories (Social Impact, Deep/Enterprise Tech, Consumer Tech), candidates are drawn from 'THE VC,' a Korean startup database, by extracting data on registered executives under the age of 30, followed by quantitative evaluation of factors such as investment raised, revenue, number of employees, and patents.

  • For recommendations from the venture capital industry or from previous '30 Under 30' honorees, and for the Art & Style / Science / Entertainment categories, a variety of factors—including the opinions of experts in each field and fan-base influence—are comprehensively taken into account.

  • The final candidates are reviewed by industry experts and the Forbes Korea editorial team, focusing on originality, key achievements, global growth potential, and leadership, to determine 30 people—five in each of six categories.

Why Dalpha CEO Kim Do-gyun Was Selected

Offering an AI Guide Through the Digital Maze

Dalpha is a startup that develops and provides custom AI solutions for B2B companies. After graduating from Seoul Science High School and the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Seoul National University, CEO Kim Do-gyun worked as an AI tech leader at CNAI before founding Dalpha together with four co-founders. Collaborating with top AI talent, Dalpha has, in just two years, become the company that businesses think of first when looking for AI solutions.

The problem Dalpha set out to solve is that "many companies want to adopt AI but struggle because they don't know exactly which solution to apply." To fill this gap, Dalpha built a one-of-a-kind system that custom-assembles AI technologies across various industries like "building with Lego." Through these efforts, the company achieved the remarkable result of accumulating 13.3 billion won in investment and securing more than 100 clients in just two years—a remarkable achievement.

Custom AI Across Every Field

Dalpha's strength lies in flexibly weaving together the AI technologies needed across diverse work areas such as e-commerce, marketing, education, and content. Since its founding, the company has held more than 800 business meetings to gain a broad understanding of market demand, and as a result it quickly proposes ways for AI to efficiently handle "repetitive tasks that hurt productivity." Keeping up with fast-changing AI trends while tailoring solutions precisely to each company's specialized needs has become Dalpha's unique competitive edge.

Going Global and Expanding New Services

Dalpha recently collaborated with Daehong Communications to unveil 'AIMS,' a platform that supports the entire process from research and promotion strategy development to execution and results analysis, making it easy to share context at each stage. Having built up considerable testing and a track record at home, Dalpha is now gearing up for global expansion. It is currently reviewing applicability for overseas commerce and marketing companies, centered on the North American and Southeast Asian markets.
