Security Is a Core Challenge for AI... AI Startup Dalpha Strengthens Service Security in Partnership with Theori

- Theori, a cybersecurity specialist, carries out a security-reinforcement project across all of Dalpha's services

Dalpha (CEO: Kim Do-gyun), an AI startup pursuing a corporate-tailored "AI Daiso," announced that it has carried out a security-technology reinforcement project with Theori (CEO: Park Se-jun), a company specializing in cybersecurity.

Theori is a cybersecurity specialist founded by members from Carnegie Mellon University in the United States. To date, it has successfully provided security consulting for more than 100 major global IT companies, including Google, Microsoft, Samsung Electronics, Naver, Dunamu, Toss, and Coinone. Beyond this, it collaborates on joint research projects with public institutions at home and abroad, such as the U.S. defense research labs, the Ministry of National Defense of Korea, and the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI).

Through this security-reinforcement project with Theori, Dalpha blocks the rapidly increasing advanced persistent threat (APT) attacks in complex IT environments and strengthens security and service stability in cloud environments. This security-reinforcement project was applied to all externally exposed servers of the more than 100 AI services Dalpha provides, and through security checks by world-class hackers, it proactively eliminated potential threats as a first step.

Following this security-reinforcement project, Dalpha said it plans to continuously strengthen security and real-time service stability by adopting a CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management) solution—such as Theori's integrated cloud security management solution 'Xint'—to continuously manage potential security threats.

A Dalpha representative said, "Given the nature of AI solutions provided in cloud environments, security is one of the most important factors," adding, "Through ongoing collaboration with Theori, which has world-class technical expertise, we will strive to provide AI solutions that customers can use with confidence. Beyond continuous management of security threats through the adoption of CSPM, we also plan to obtain ISO 27001 and ISMS certifications to continuously strengthen our security."
